I’m Jonás Manuel Gutiérrez, born and raised in Buenos Aires Argentina. I’m a professional footballer who can play all across the midfield. After having a successful stint in England (Newcastle United & Norwich City) and Spain (Mallorca & Deportivo La Coruna) I’m now back in my native Argentina for Club Atlético Banfield.
I picked up the nickname ‘Spider-Man’ because of my unique goal celebration. Imitating the ‘spidey’ hand gesture and donning his mask that I’d stashed away in my shorts pre-match.
I’m currently recovering from a knee ligament injury. But I’ll be back on the pitch again before you know it!
